Inland Waterway Pipeline Mark
Submarine Pipeline Mark Overhead Pipeline Mark Function and Purpose: Installed on shore at one or both ends of river-crossing pipelines, cables, and other cross-river pipelines that require marking, or on both banks or one bank at appropriate distances upstream and downstream of the river-crossing pipeline, to warn vessels entering the marked area to take necessary precautions. Color: The post features red and white diagonal stripes; the sign panel is white with black border and black text; the arrow crossbar has a green or blue background with white numerals and text. Light Characteristic: One fixed light is installed at each of the three top points of the sign panel. The fixed light on the left bank is white (green); the fixed light on the right bank is red.
