Limit Mark

Function and Purpose: Installed at the upstream and downstream ends of a controlled navigation section to mark the upper and lower boundaries of the controlled navigation section. When installed at both ends of the effective length of a lock chamber, it marks the limits within which vessels may safely berth inside the lock chamber.
