Product Purpose:
The CTD monitoring buoy is an important component of the marine environmental monitoring system, primarily used to measure physical parameters of the water column including salinity, conductivity, temperature, and depth.
Product Features:
Multi-parameter Measurement: It can simultaneously measure multiple parameters of seawater such as temperature, salinity and depth. Additional sensors can be integrated to realize comprehensive measurement of more marine environmental parameters, providing complete data for marine research and monitoring.
Long-term Stability: Adopting high-quality materials and advanced manufacturing processes, it features excellent corrosion resistance and anti-biofouling performance. It can operate stably for a long time in harsh marine environments to ensure data continuity and reliability. For example, some buoys are equipped with titanium alloy housings and anti-biofouling coatings, extending their service life to more than 5 years.
Real-time Data Transmission: Equipped with multiple communication methods including satellite communication, 4G/5G and Beidou communication. It can transmit collected data in real time to shore-based receiving stations or user terminals, guaranteeing data timeliness for timely analysis and decision-making.
Self-sufficient Power Supply: Renewable energy devices such as solar panels and wave energy generators (or a hybrid power supply combining both) are generally deployed to power the sensors, controllers and communication equipment on the buoy, enabling long-term operation without external power supply.
High Intelligence: It supports data quality control, anomaly detection and automatic calibration. The collected data can be processed and filtered in real time to improve data accuracy and usability. Some buoys can automatically adjust sampling frequency and monitoring modes according to preset conditions to achieve intelligent monitoring.
