海藻生态修复

一、Project Overview:Seaweed ecological restoration technology, also known as seaweed bed ecological restoration technology, involves deploying algal reefs and cultivating ‘Underwater Forests’ of species such as Caulerpa, Sargassum, Ulva, and Porphyra on the reef structures. These forests aggregate a diverse range of organisms, including giant clams and groupers. The growth of algae and the presence of filter-feeding fish help reduce nitrogen and phosphorus pollution in the ocean, while benthic shellfish effectively decrease suspended matter and algae in the water, thereby purifying the water. This technology aims to restore and maintain biodiversity in marine areas, islands, and coastal zones, while also enhancing the functional capacity of these ecosystems.

二、System Architecture:The seaweed ecological restoration framework is a system project characterized by 'Interdisciplinary Integration, Full-Cycle Management.' It requires the combination of knowledge from ecology, oceanography, sociology, and other fields, addressing the entire chain from 'Diagnosis - Intervention - Monitoring - Maintenance.' Its core is not only to enable seaweed to 'Grow' but also to make the entire ecosystem 'Thrive,' ultimately achieving sustainable coordination between marine ecology and human activities.

三、Main functions:Reconstruct the foundational elements of marine ecosystems, restore key ecological services, monitor and provide early warnings, dynamically optimize restoration strategies, and enhance ecosystem resilience to withstand environmental stress.
